Two Words for Air New Zealand

When travel was restricted in order to keep New Zealanders safe from COVID-19, we cancelled plans, changed how we worked and stayed home.

Planes were grounded, the skies became quieter and Air New Zealand workers were faced with uncertainty and the threat of widespread job losses.

In the midst of this, each person pictured here remains proud of their work – the high standards and great customer experience they have delivered.

They’re committed to a positive future for our national carrier.

E tū members have always shared their aspirations for Air New Zealand.

These members and others like them helped to create a High Performance, High Engagement workplace. Over the past five years, they have been an important part of our national carriers’ award winning service.

With New Zealanders now able to fly again, planes and passengers will be back in the sky. Air New Zealand staff will be there making sure everyone gets to their destination safely and on time.

So as Air New Zealand begins to operate under a new normal, union members from across the airline have joined together to share some good advice.

It’s Two Words for Air New Zealand – what E tū members want to see in our national carrier, now and into the future.

They want to Rebuild Better.
